PROCESS

Flames of Hope

It's when I work with others where I tend to enjoy the process the most. Collaborating helps a little spark to ignite a whole bushfire....And a bushfire it was! The process video does not portray how random these sparks happened and how easy it is to loose the initial scope, size and timeframe due to the enjoyment.It all started with a screenshot and an idea but lead to months of ping-ponging together to fuel each others creativity.One of the biggest lessons this project taught me is things eventually have to be called done.

Growing a Seed

Most of the times my projects start from planting a little seed. The seed can be a simple doodle or a proper idea. Taking a lot of care of this seed allows it to become a beautiful tree.Lending techniques from architectural design my process varries in it's execution. It is very organic and reactive meaning no working session is like the other.Sometimes projects start from a refference, other times from a sketch, song, idea, symbol, or an accidental finding. It is always helpful to keep the eyes open to new ideas you haven't thought of while messing with current ones.

Realising Sketches

Sketches are one of my ways to start bundling up important features inside of a prop. This helps exploring possible aspects, like geometry, theme and material, a prop could possibly include. Often this leads to a further on evolution of designs, growing into ideas which werent part of the initial sketching phase.

How I contribute to communities around me

Assisting Artists
The wellbeing of our community members is very important. In my 15 year long Art Journey I have learned many mindsets to help out other artists who feel stuck or unsatisfied with their works. Administrating the Hytale Creator Club allows me to be in the frontline to help our community artists when either artistic or emotional help are needed.

Quality UGC
Having worked with top talented people from the community we have created several memorable pieces for the community already. Knowing what we are capable of strengthens my confidence in producing moments which will become memorable experiences for many players.

To Inspire you, to Make you Happy
The main goal of each piece differs compared to their greatest main intention to inspire Creators, Viewers and Developers and eventually also spark some happiness. Creativity is a spark which passes on. What is a flame, without other artist's sparks?

Constant learning
Art is a life long journey, and I love facing the challenges each craft and practise brings to the paper. Each step allows me to spend time into thoughts and experiment with all possible outcomes. A helpful source of knowledge is listening to other artists, and looking into their workflows in detail. As a self taught artist, this helps me to realize there isn't really a wrong in the process.

Someone like you
I never was born with all these skills in my hands. I was lucky enough, to find a positive environment which started to believe in me, and tell me to just keep going and open up feedback and tools along my way. It's other people believing in me what keeps my inner flame lit.There are many challenges we as artists face, which loops back on how through these different struggles we should start assisting eachother, to make art accessible for anyone who thinks they could never do so. I am so fortunate, to have met so many talented souls whichs lines and letters I can keep on learning from, to keep on giving back.
